Two people were killed and 13 others were injured in a shootout at a party in Chicago's South Side early Sunday. Officials gave this information.


Police spokesman Jose Zara said in a statement that the incident occurred at around 4.40 am. Those who got shot are between 20 and 44 years of age. 



Zara has not provided further details of the incident. He also did not say whether the attacker was one or more, or what was the reason for the firing? Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt told a Chicago news channel that seven of the injured are in critical condition.




A police officer speaking to the media said that four guns had been recovered at the scene, investigators are now finding out how many people opened fire. No arrests have been made yet. Also said that investigators are finding out why the bullet was fired?
